yummy!!

i thought these little pb and j sandwich bites (they are actually sunbutter and strawberry preserves) were so cute! i got the idea from my friend cat:-) i was just cutting them into 4 pieces before. but now i cut the crusts off, put between two paper towels and smash:-) and then cut into squares... she ate every bite!! and i ate the crusts:-(

I love the way sliced onions look when preparing a meal.. it makes me feel like i'm a real pro ( I am not) in the kitchen.

dont you hate it when you have an idea of what you are going to cook only to find you are missing the main ingredient?! Orzo.. we were out of Orzo?! At any rate, i made this balsamic and honey chicken (onion, kosher salt, balsamic vinegar, honey, pepper - bake at 400 for 50 mins) and lemony pasta (add diced tomato, corn, minced garlic, olive oil and kosher salt). Both the munchkin and I thought it was yummy.. Hubby on the other hand.. thinks spaghetti noodles should only be eaten with red sauce. Also, all macaroni noodles remind him of hamburger helper (flash backs from child hood) and he refuses to eat them... And he wont eat peas and mashed potatoes together. ever. But I digress... It would have been nice to know this ahead of time...

Meet our new favorite drink.. In our quest to cut out high fructose corn syrup but still have something cold and fizzy and sweet we found these at Whole Foods..they also sell them at Trader Joes...

yummy yum yum... him not her:-)
