The Proverbial Pumpkin Patch and Le Petit Marche

Even though we had all been up to 4 in the morning with colds and such, I still managed to march these guys out to my favorite little restaurant in Kirkwood (mainly because i had no intention of cooking) last weekend. Le Petit Marche is a super quaint, super special, little market that serves great breakfast and lunch. I really wish I could convince hubby to go there every Sunday after church.
What do you call a meal that's between lunch and dinner? Linner? Dunch? I dont like either of those:-/ Well that's what we had before heading off in search of pumpkins. After a memory lapse and a few wrong turns we stumbled on a harvested pumpkin patch in Decatur at The Glenn School near Emory University.
We have not yet ventured to to the Great Corn Maze, Hay Ride, Pumpkin Patch that you need to pack a light lunch to travel to. I am quite happy with roaming through rows of harvested pumpkins and letting these little guys pick out their favorite. We promptly came home and arranged the pumpkins out on the front porch next to the skeletons and bats (pix to come). Would love to see your pumpkin pix, as I am quite nosy. Send me a link;)
