this weekend

hubby has been snoring for the past hour and i would be too if my munchkin didnt keep waking up every five minutes. so i thought i'd do a quick little post on the weekend haps.  i have a feeling this is going to be a crappy post. although i'm feeling inspired.. im having some bloggers block probably due to exhaustion and fatigue...

at any rate,  here it goes.

friday nights are hot date night and this time we spent it at the high museum.  the allure of the automobile exhibit had something for the car fanatic, history buff, and design freak with 18 shining examples of automobile design from the Golden Age of automaking, inside and out, from start to finish..

 hubby and i were holding hands and tweeting the whole time:-)  here are some pix we snapped with our camera phones..  SWEET RIDES!

a night out on the town is always a great start to the weekend..

the grandparents came to visit for a bit and showered the munchkin with more hugs and kisses than you can shake a stick at:-) they were married 19 years last weekend.. inspiring.. happy anniversary

102.5 temp with no other symptoms landed us in the childrens hospital for three hours trying to make sure it wasnt a UTI... and now i think we all have a stomach virus.. this is what happens when you send your toddler to school...

so besides the quick trip to market for sourcream for dinner..  we spent today inside looking out at the rainy, gloomy day munching on momma lena's famous lasagna and nursing ourselves back to health (hopefully)...
