This past pregnancy I found myself watching tons of reruns of The Golden Girls, which came on at midnight (The Hallmark Channel) as I had trouble falling asleep from the bowling ball attached to my abdomen. Additionally, these young ladies tended to be the sound track to our daily going ons playing in the background as we moved around getting dressed in the mornings.
I just found my daughter (3 1/2 year old) upstairs in the guest room on the bed watching an episode.. When I aked what she was doing, she said, "I need to see what Dorothy is doing."
Blanche goes into this dialogue about how on her wedding day she walked into a room of 500 people not wearing any underwear, because she thought it was the right thing to do.
My Three year old turns to me and says, "Mom, God will be mad at us if we dont wear under wear!" And I said, "And dont you forget it baby...
I supposed I should now save The Golden Girls for my private time (whenever that is)... Not quite the family show I remember it to be (LOVE IT)...
