im bringing sexy back!

Little h is a little six weeks old and my sister who is getting married at the end of summer asks, "what size do you THINK you'll be by the wedding?". REALLY!!!!.. no really that's a good question.. I suppose its time to release my chunky girl tendencies i developed during the pregnancy (Rocky Road, Breads and Cheeses galore) and bring sexy back. this will be just the motivation I need. and I'm sure hubby would appreciate me getting back into my own pj''s instead of his oversized boxers and tshirts.. and after reading Shades of Grey, I would too:-) dont judge me.

So I dont have a real plan right now other than to drink lots of water.. cut out a huge portion of my sugar intake and load up on veggies..

so inspired by this lovely lady, i went diggin in the crates for some of my old favorites.   a little iceberg wedge, i keep spinach on hand and strawberries have been super duper on sale as of late. i can't wait!!

and here are a couple of the recipes from BUNNIE'S COOKING ADVENTURES (and by that i mean an old franklin covey planner i've jotted down some yummy things I've had luck with).

Watermelon  Salad - Spinach, Feta, Watermelon, Grape Tomatoes, Red Onions

Wedge Salad - Iceberg, Tomatoes, Green Onions, Turkey Bacon Crumbles

Apple Salad - Pecans, Apples, Spinach, White Cheddar Salt and Pepper

Peach Salad - Walnuts, Sliced Peaches, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Cherry Tomatoes, Spinach

Easy Breezy Salad Dressings

House Vinaigrette
2 teaspoons white balsalmic vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil.
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Brown Sugar Cider Vinaigrette
2/3 cups Canola
2 minced green onions
1 tbs Dijon Mustard
3 tbs Brown Sugar
3tbs chopped fresh basil
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Next up - the work out! any suggestions on how to work that into the schedule with the new infant on board (as if I'm not already tired enough)!

this is from my 30th birthday (5 years ago as of last week).. before the kids.. foot loose and fancy free.

This dress is MOTIVATION..

Do you have a jog stroller? If not, I highly suggest you put that on your hubby wish list. You'll widdle those pounds off in no time and the kids will love being outside. Well one of them won't know what's going on, LOL. Good luck! -Marisa
