Not the skinny friend anymore {Battle of the Baby Bulge}...

I used to be the skinny friend. How about you?

I think I just ate 67 points worth of Weight Watchers points... A Gnocchi with Chicken Sausage, Mushrooms, and a Creamy Tomato Sauce I made for Sunday dinner was the culprit. Gah!! I have one month until I am to be wearing a swimsuit on the beach and I would really like to not look like I need to be shooting water out of the top of my bun (I know a bit extreme). I was just looking through some of our spring break photos (I'm working on sharing the presentable ones) and I look a hot, frumpy mess:-( My posture  is awful (I'm sure carrying an extra 22 1/2 pounds strapped to my chest doesnt help). And This Santa Clause belly is really starting to get on my nerves. H took a lot of pictures from behind.. And lets just say Bootyliscious is not the word I'd use to describe what i saw:-/ Its a good thing I lost those 5 initial pounds or I'd only have about 3 things I could fit into..

Okay.. I'll stop beating myself up now.


My New Plan: (I think this is plan #3).  In my defense, everything doesnt work for everyone, right? You have to find a plan that works for your specific needs and lifestyle. Okay so, plenty of water (which I've been doing an awful job at over the last couple of weeks), healthy diet, and exercise.. I KNOW!


30 Day Countdown until Beach or Bust. And then I will eat all the ice cream I want.



Only (LOTS OF) water . I will be foregoing my daily tea/coffee.
Lots of veggies and fruit, minimal breads and the like.
At Least 30 minutes of exercise everyday. I will admit its been a little tricky with the two of them so.. Even if I have to hula hoop in the front yard with the kids.

I will admit, I have a problem in the snacking area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'll still be using Weight Watchers to track my meals (did you know a handful of banana chips could wreck your whole day?).. It has been helpful and keeps me in check. I dont feel very good after typing in that I ate 3 mini cupcakes.. embarrassing.

And then Megan had to wear that tank top, with that flat stomach and sculpted arms on the play ground.  I HATE YOU!! Consider me motivated.

Ma'am. I am on the get fit wagon for different reasons but don't make me pull out my jogging stroller and meet you for a weekly walk.

Drink your water. I've been doing so much better and I feel better although it is quite nasty and tasteless.

You are doing great. You can do this. Order a Zumba DVD so all three of you can exercise together. Stay positive. Also get the MY fitness pal app. That will help too!

Thanks Mimi and Steph! I will get on that today. I'm hungry already:-( Mimi! Let's do it!! I need at least one day I can make it happen come hell or high water!
