MUST HAVE CLASSICS FOR THE BEACH + LANDS' END GETAWAY TOUR

We had a pretty low key weekend (birthday party, church, the usual suspects). I got a do-over on Mothers Day since the Grandma's were in town, which included breakfast in bed (yes!) and a few hours of "me time". I scooted off to Atlantic Station for some shopping and hob-nobbing with the folks from Land's End.

Thanks so much Shawn for the invite to the kick-off Lands' End - Getaway Tour -  event on Saturday! It was SO MUCH fun. Not only was I able to meet and get one-on-one style tips from amazing author (The Pocket Stylist)  Glamour magazine GLAMbassador, and fashion stylist Kendall Farr (and crew) personal fittings were available to get you geared up for the ultimate swim suit experience.

We chatted about how the fit of the swimsuit comes first. Not just, "Can you fit into it?", but a properly fitted swimsuit. We all want (and need) to feel confident in a swimsuit which is always a good start. And how to incorporate the current trends into your personal style. And for me, personally.. at the end of the day, I want to look and feel like a real HOT mama.. I'm just saying..

I'll be the first to admit that I used to equate Lands' End with school uniforms and rain boots. But OH MY NO!!! So many fresh and modern looks! Classic staples with an updated feel. From Old Hollywood Glamour to Boho Chic they have you covered (literally). They've done such an amazing job with incorporating trends while staying true to their American Lifestyle brand.

I also got to meet my new favorite swim tee in person and scooped it on the spot for our annual beach trip coming up, along with these sweet sunnies. And I've been pinning away my favorite styles and swim suit looks over here.
