some how my camera fell on my laptop while i was typing and published my post for me before i was finished. so please forgive if you saw some really rough draft of this first..

at any rate...

so i've been a little cranky lately. feeling kinda down, kinda tired... a little frustrated.. now that i type this outloud.. and look over at my calendar i think it's probably hormones.. hence my lack of blogging. i've been hitting the sack pretty soon after the little munchkin..

so friday is usually hot date night for me and the hubby. we either spend it out on the town (a.k.a dinner and a movie) as the munchkins GiGi (Godmother) has so graciously given us an open invitation to friday night baby sitting. Or with pizza and a movie/TiVo.. I like to get a cheese pizza (Trader Joes Margherita pizza is a fav) and cut up some of our favorite veggies and bake..

the hubby has now  instituted wind down family time  for the end of the day.. which is perfectly fine by me. so instead of having the television (sesame street) on in the back ground as we make and have dinner.. we now put on some tunes and just hang.. tonight he had itunes load all songs with "love" in the title or part of the song...

so hubby sensed my craziness and surprised me with a little something. i lost one of the pair of my favorite earrings (i mean i wear them almost every day). so he replaced them. i put them on immediately. SWEET!

i couldnt resist posting this sweet little pic of my little munchkin. we did have ONE nice day this week (i think a monsoon rolled through). we spent it at the childrens book store and hanging out in the square for a bit...

now back to my hot date:-)

for the lovers..

due to yesterday's snowfall, we were advised not to travel today unless absolutely necessary so we listened to music and played all day!! the darling hubby even tore himself away from his new toy long enough to make valentine's day cards with us!! actually we both finally upgraded into the 21st century from our previous 2006 antique phones..
i was really getting tired of having to hit the #5 three times to get to the letter "l".  

at any rate we pulled out all the crayons and paper and whatever else could find and made a huge mess. i think I had the most fun:-/

 

  

  

  

  

 

tomorrow hubby will be taking his girls out to a valentines day brunch 

before heading into the office for a bit:-( We'll be making heart shaped brownies to welcome him home...

bunnie and h. sittin' in a tree..

tomorrow we will have been married for 4 glorious years... i can still remember the day we met like it was yesterday.. and my mom will tell you that the night we met (6.5 years ago), i came home and told her that i had met my husband.. mainly because he could recite all of the lines from "The Color Purple." 

It has been quite the non stop crazy whirlwind since that summer day in Jax.

Here's to many MANY more..

okay maybe this is the happiest day of my life... or at least the scariest:-)
