So I was so excited that I got to link up with a dear friend of mine (a mom from munchkins former preschool) at a birthday party last weekend. We've been sending notes, and emails, and texts, but it had been nearly a year since we'd seen each other, I think? Where does the time go?? At any rate, after giving each other the run down of the haps over the last year (girl scouts, new schools, hot dates, play dates...) she put me on to a couple of jams that she and her little were shaking their booties to.

These has been on replay all week, the radio edited version of course:-)





And this line dance we've been jamming to a gazillion times. Elmo slide AGAIN mommy!!

some other thoughts musings for the weekend:

The other night we got dressed up and went to a little fundraising event. In hindsight, wishing I had this super cute clutch instead of dragging around my bulky (albeit fancy) bag. And all of these cute accessories on super duper sale at Anthropologie.

Filling up my Pinterest "Hair Crush" board with these anything but basic bun styles. They don't call me Bunnie for nothing.

Did I mention that in an effort not to pull out every strand of my hair this year, I've decided to join in on the fun (at least the snacks and adult beverages) and learn the game of Football. I've even joined a Fantasy Football league with some girlfriends. I hope The Bunnie Ranch kicks butt this weekend - WOOT.

Setting a date with a bloggy pal of mine to get together for a crafternoon and put the finishing touches some pumpkins and other fall goodness.

How come noone told me about InstaCart?! These folks will go grocery shopping and deliver it to your door (in as little time as an hour), thats bananas!! You mean, I can get my Organic Horizon whole milk, Huggies Slip Ons, and squeezey Peter Rabbit apple sauce pouches all while little people people are napping? Sign up and receive free delivery on your first order over $10, Say what?!

Oh re reading this New York Times article about "Scandal" and "Greys Anatomy" creator/writer Shonda Rhimes. I think it was supposed to be a praise report - A little baffling if its not a joke?!! I am personally offended on many levels!!?

ITS THE WEEKEND - WOOT!

I think all of my favorite actors and comedians got together and made movies and decided to release them all at the same time. Frantically searching for a sitter so that I can dive into at least one of these movies - HILARIOUS, EMOTIONAL, TERRIFYING - over the weekend. I've corralled the trailers for your viewing pleasure. Also, if you're going to see either, ping me just in case I need to leave hubby at home for a GIRLS NIGHT OUT.

 







Speaking of Girls Night, I'm almost finished with this hilarious book. The author has described southern women to a tee - which I found equally hilarious and offensive?!  Hoping to finish it up over the weekend and dive into a few other things:

I'm trying to find something fun to do over the long weekend in October. I'd love to share this huge amazing house with some friends in mountains of Asheville, I've never been before - but a fall trip to the mountains would be a good way to unwind from the hustle of back to school… Hints to the hubby..

Stumbled on this Cozi app - the tag line drew me in - family.  life.  simplify - I'll take some of that.

Going  overboard over on Pinterest - looking for inspiration for fall porch decor ideas starting with this inspired Pinterest board. I'm thinking galvanized planters, purple mums, white stenciled pumpkins...

SHOUT OUT! So jealous happy for my bloggy pal Mimi who has just signed on to blog for Good Housekeeping - WOW!! I want to be just like this chic when I grow up. For Real tho.

SO In love with the style and design of this Chicago apartment. Currently deleting all my pin boards and starting over with these photos:-) Oh and I'll be stalking her super cute blog over the weekend.

HEALTHY MEXICAN CASSEROLE RECIPE + WEEKEND PERUSING

Currently stalking this recipe and Pinch of Yum. 

I am SO making this over the weekend.  Okay I really bought the stuff to make Brussels Sprouts with Chicken Sausage for Sunday dinner. But this Healthy Mexican Casserole recipe is definitely going to be in rotation next week. I can't stop staring at it. IT LOOKS SO YUM!!!

I'll be hanging with my Girl Scouts tomorrow doing a day camp, hike, crafts, smore making jamboree! I bought a new pair of Converse for the occasion, but I think they will need a little more breaking in before I take them out for a hike. (my baby toe is not happy right now:-/

Settled on this Etsy invite for little h's party/egg hunt. I'm a sucker for chalkboard right now (and burlap and kraft paper…) I asked for a chocolate bunny on the invite. Mainly because I'm a chocolate Bunnie:-) Pun intended.

Hoping to finish up up my spring summer wreath. Its taking a bit longer than I would like thought.. It will hopefully look a little something like this. I was inspired by this Anthropologie wreath over the holidays. I wanted something versatile with texture. I think I've used about 786 sticks of glue.

Okay, whew… deep breath.. I'm setting up shop... Speaking this into existence. My first official announcement. I am opening up the Giggle Girls Book Club  for membership!! HOORAY!!
