hello may | MOTHERS DAY WISH LIST ERR.. GIFT GUIDE

Clockwise from the top left
STACKABLE GEMSTONE/BIRTHSTONE RING(S) | OVERNIGHT STAY AT THE INN AT SERENBE | NIKE FIT BIT

These folks run me ragged from sun up to sun down (and beyond) so I WANT PRESENTS! Well at least a present.  okay, really - MORE than one. Mothers Day is fast approaching and my birthday right after...

Day dreaming of things I think I'd like to try but have not bothered to push the button on or found the time to do. Oh and those DROOLICIOUS rings will probably be on some wish or another of mine until the day I die. Those are from Tiffany and Co., but any respectable jeweler will do.  I got really excited when I realized that little h's birthstone is a diamond (Andie's is Sapphire) but remembered that H informed me many moons ago that he had only planned on purchasing one blood diamond in his lifetime. humph.. we'll see about that.

And in an effort to stop eyeing that adult sequined leotard (in the ballet shoppe) for myself in case they need a stand in at my 5 year olds ballet recital, I think these Pure Barre fitness might just cure my long lost Debbie Allen FAME induced regrets…and burn some calories in the process.

MY TOP PICK is the Mia 2 Clarisonic cleansing brush. I've heard (and read) so many awesome things about the wonders this magic wand does for cleaning and shining your face like a new penny. I'm knocking on 40 (in a few years) and its high time I step up my beauty routine. I know they say black don't crack.. but I'd rather be safe than sorry:-)

I want to be pampered and feel pretty and have servants  and inspired at least for the day….

some other good ideas:
This super cute tunic/cover-up from Boden just in time for Spring/Summer

These cute and comfy Minnetonka Moccasins to scoot around in all summer.

New Sunnie's like these perfectly pink oversized cuties.

Drop off and pick up services at a day spa (please).

Replace her frumpy lumpy old bath robe with this - HINT HINT

What's on your list?

xx,
Bunnie

P.S. Who couldn't use a gift card to JCrew?!

Make This! Seersucker {Everyday Napkins}

I've been meaning to do this for some time now - Make some cloth napkins for the house. We have the nice white linen ones we registered for and pull out for dinner parties and such. But I wanted some that we could use for lunch/dinner every day in lieu of using a gazillion paper towels.

Maybe?

So, I have contributed highly to the wife's love of all things bag. DVF, Marc, Cole Haan...blah.blah.blah. I think it started when I bought her one for grad school graduation and escalated from there. I like her to have nice things that she can keep forever and a day. While browsing through the latest T-Magazine, I spotted this Longchamp. Even in green, it speaks timeless. In my opinion, you pay any substantial price, it MUST be timeless and essential. Never bought a clutch either. Mother's Day or Birthday? Maybe.

Saving Face with Baxter

Must have razor! I have been shaving with Gillette since my Navy days and just realized how badly they suck after shaving 4 days in a row because of important meetings. Nick, Nick, Nick. UGH! I normally can get by with an every other day approach since I don't grow a ton of facial hair. I also thought it ridiculous to spend real money on something that provides a limited function. I spend about $12 on a pack of toss aways. This one is $60 and comes with blades and replacements are 20 for $4, which is not bad when you start doing the longer term math. Not sure why they named it the Safety Razor but I'd love one for Father's Day. Better than the neon light Miami necktie that Cliff Huxtable got from his kids. Cosby Show Season 1 Episode 13

and the cutest of all:

so today i was trying to take munckin to the oakhurst community garden when i pulled up and realized it really is just that.. a community garden.. but folks were talking about it like it was a mini botanical gardens? so then i tried to get the gps to take me to the nearest park which ended up being oakhurst park which is really just a brick structure in the middle of the square so next on the list was mckoy park which is around the corner but as i got out of the car a strange man jumped out of the woods combing his hair, so we got back in the car and drove home..

these are some pix i took of munchkin playing in the car.. i thought we'd just play in the yard instead...
